Food and service are amazing. If you're new to east Indian food they're accommodating and take the time to explain what different foods are. I usually order take out now that I have kids but often I'll just call and tell them my budget and they'll put a variety of things together for me since I dont know what to order. . It's amazing!
Good restaurant. Some of the food items are great. Good place for single person to medium size group. All servers are helpful and friendly. Their buffet items are bit limited compare to other Indian restaurant's buffet menus in the city. Customer parking spot is very limited. But at least they have some compare to other restaurants in downtown.
I walked by Ivory on my first day visiting Winnipeg and just by the smell alone I knew that I had to eat there before I left. Ivory didn't disappoint. When I walked in I didn't realize that there was an all-you-can-eat option before I arrived, but I definitely knew by the time I waddled out. It was very filling and very tasty. As a vegetarian there were a number of different options available for me and I think I tried them all. We also had some garlic butter naan, which was quite nice. I didn't even notice there was a dessert section until we were already leaving, which was probably best for my waistline. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Unfortunately I won't be back in Winnipeg soon, but the next time I am I expect I'll make a detour to Ivory.
Food was really good. Customer service was worst. We waited 2 hours to get our food. Person who was serving literally ignoring us. August 1st 7:00 pm.
Definitely a favourite. Have been coming here since their previous location on Main Street. The buffet is always excellent with delicious korma and butter chicken. The owner is also very kind and loves chatting and asking how everyone is doing. Thanks for the great food and service!
