Had lunch. I was told they were the original owners of kim. Baek which is one of my favorites in the city. The food is solid. I would return. We got what we believe was the gamjatang. they're naming scheme was a little different here so it was more difficult to figure out what we normally order. We also got the seafood pancake. Whenever I go to a Korean place the soup come out boiling hot. I mean literally boiling. The soup in this case did not which was a little disappointing. The sides were good that came with the gamjatang. Parking is in a large lot that is shared with various businesses.
If a restaurant is always busy and there is a bit of a wait to get the food it's a good sign. I have no problem to wait 30 minutes for food that's made from scratch - it's absolutely worth it!!
Terrific service and great authentic Korean food at a fair price. A local favorite among students in the area.
Gamjatang here is the best in town I would say. I also love the yummy little side dishes come on the side always.
The worst Korean restaurant I have been to. Terrible service and slow. The waitress only knows how to say 2 things, "45 minutes wait." And "We are sorry, no more pork bone soup". If it was a one-off thing I would have let it go.... but it was everytime I have been there. They don't care. Save your money on something worthwhile.
