Wonderful place! Very cute, the patio is very nice and they had very fast and polite service. Tasted great, although the food is quite oily.
There are a few too many tables in this place, but given how busy it was when my girlfriend and I went, I can see why they have stuffed so many tables in there. The service was okay and the food was quite good. I got a pizza and it was pretty salty, but that may have had more to do with the toppings I got than anything else. My girlfriend got some breaded chicken thing with a massive side of spaghetti. The side of spaghetti could've been a meal on its own. Seeing as how it was a side, it really could've been halved or even cut down to a third of what she got. But, obviously she took it home and we got to eat it later, so that worked out. You definitely get your money's worth for food here. The decorating is quite dated, but that gives it a certain charm. I'd go again.
I hope someone in Management actually reads this. We came here for the first time 3 weeks ago. Ordered the lasagna. It was extremely salty. Couldn't finish it. My friend ordered the Gnocchi Verdi with 4 cheese....it had NO cheese. It wasnt busy. Waitress was friendly and awesome with all the regulars....but not with us. I suspect she was the owner. I dont eat out often but when I do...and spend decent money...I expect a great meal. It was far from that. I usually go by reviews and this places over 4 stars.. we were disappointed for sure.
The restaurant is quaint, very clean and the staff is very welcoming and professional. The menu is varied, and offers something for everyone. I had pasta with seafood, and the flavours were exquisite , seafood was fresh and not skimpy. Shrimps were large, squid was tender and mussels were cooker just right. The portion was very large, that Even the half salad was enough for two. I will be returning for sure, and recommend this establishment for you to try. No disappointments here .. It’s in the centre of Little Italy, so you can walk along then enjoy a gelato.
Authentic Italian in every way and goes beyond the food with the ambiance and interior decor. What I found absolutely charming was meeting the owner at the exit who greeted us quite well and even exchanged some wonderful views and ideas coming off as a great conversationalist. Definitely dropping by again if I am up for Italian cuisine.
